It’s been a minute since I put together a Shark Week Round-Up. I’d like to say I’m sorry, but I’m not since I’ve been very busy enjoying summer. And by enjoying summer I mean hanging at the splash pad, reading borderline trashy novels, working hard on a new project and, like always, eating chips and drinking wine. Also, reading the internet. Here’s what’s good this week.
Current mood and some Friday reading after a week that felt too long and too short all at the same time. If you need me, I’ll be eating chips and drinking wine.
This week I have been feeling very breezy, with the long weekend summer vibes lasting right through to Friday! I spent a lot of time eating tacos and sitting in the park and reading fluffy YA novels before starting work this week. A top-secret project is coming together and I am so excited to share it with you soon. Here are a few things I liked and listened to on the internet this week to help you look busy until 5pm.
A few good things about this upcoming weekend that includes a lot of celebrating: Canada Day long weekend. I am helping my sister move into her first apartment two blocks away from me and I’ve got a very special bottle of sparkling wine and a family-sized bag of chips to celebrate the occasion. My mom requested a pizza party for her birthday and I am happy to oblige. But before we get to all that, a few good things from the internet this week.
Welcome to the first instalment of Shark Week: your weekly round-up of period stuff, female wellness and whatever else I thought was cool on the internet this week!
